im looking for the percent of the most common type of transport fuel used today. im thinking its either diesel or gas, but im not sure, and i’ve tried google but i havent found it…

I bought a boat that sat for 1 1/2 yrs, with diesel fuel in the tanks, I am now getting heavy soot,and decreased economy. Can any thing be added to the fuel to rid this problem , without draining the tanks, and clean out the injectors?
